Advanced Precision Positioning Technology
Prairie Precision Network was formed in recognition of the need to advance precision positioning technology in Western Canada. Recognizing that Western Canada deserves to work with world class tools, a solution was sought to bring reliable, sub-inch accuracy RTK to rural Western Canada regardless of equipment type. While there are RTK providers for parts of Western Canada there has been no one to date that could provide a high level of RTK corrections across the majority of rural Western Canada.
Moving forward from spring of 2010 a network of GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, ...etc) reference stations have been installed and networked together to make RTK for all Western Canada a near term reality.
Prairie Precision Network built the network using the most advanced Network technology available. The goal is to provide the highest level of accuracy and dependability for the most demanding of users.
